6. Brioche
This neighbourhood spot is charming and delightful. It is a popular lunch spot for people who work in the area. Go before 11am or after 1:30pm for seats. 401 Cordova Street West

7. Nuba
At the foot of the historic Dominion Building, this Lebanese restaurant has an extensive menu for both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. 207 Hastings Street West

8. The Cambie Bar and Grill
First opened its doors in 1887, this well-worn bar, with its Wild West charm, offers its wide array of patrons some of the cheapest beers in town. 300 Cambie Street

9. ACME Cafe
This retro style diner is a new and welcome addition to the neighbourhood. Comfort food and attentive staff make this a great brunch spot. The pies are to die for. 51 Hastings Street West

This Gastown landmark is becoming more of an art gallery than a shoe retailer. Their shoes are beautifully designed and well-made. Madonna agrees. 65 Water Street

Great sandwiches at great prices are served at this stylish cafe that recently opened in the up and coming Chinatown neighbourhood. 75 East Pender

W2 promotes local art and artists and engages the community in social events. There's always something going on at this hip and happeninig place. Hastings Street East
